What does your registration include?

A registration covers all activities, accommodation and meals throughout the camp. It also includes transport from our Hamilton and Palmerston North campuses to El Rancho; from Whangarei campus to Auckland airport; and from the Wellington airport to El Rancho (all transport is return trips). You can register here.

Travel & sign in/out

For those travelling within the Wellington region, you will be able to sign in your child to the campsite on Wednesday between 2pm and 3pm, and sign them out on Friday between 9:30am and 10:15am.

For those who will be flying to camp, please book your flight times in the windows below to ensure your child is met by our team and catches our provided airport transport to the campsite. Please allow room for a sleeping bag and pillow in their luggage. Once you have booked your flights please make sure you pass on your child's flight details to their local team leader — this will empower us to make sure we have a plan to ensure your child is well cared for!

Please book your flights in the following windows:

Wednesday 27th September:
Arrive to Wellington airport between 11am and 1pm.
Friday 29th September:
Depart Wellington airport from midday onwards.

Tribal Wars

Tribes compete in physical, intellectual, creative, and mental challenges to see who will come out as the greatest of all time Tribal Wars champions. We have two tribes for Tribal Wars and these are pre-allocated based on campus. We encourage kids to dress up in tribe colours and rep their tribe!

Blue Buffalos: Christchurch, Dunedin and Hamilton.
Red Hornets: Palmerston North, Wellington and Whangarei.

Sponsorship

Thanks to the generosity of our church family across the country we have limited sponsorship funds available to assist families who need financial assistance for their child's registrations or flights. If you would like to be considered for this, please talk to your local youth pastor, we would love to do everything we can to help get your child to camp.

Parents team

If you would like to be part of the parents team, you can apply by emailing youth@arisechurch.com — as part of the application process, we well need to police vet you. To ensure there is enough time to do this, please let us know you are interested by 1st September, 2023.

Health and Safety

We take the health and safety of our campers very seriously. Our parents team and over 18 leaders have clear responsibilities to ensure that every individual is accounted for and kept safe — this team is present onsite at all times. All of our team are police vetted and adhere to the Arise Child and Protection policy. All delegates are unable to leave the campsite at any time unless they are picked up by their parent or caregiver — we do ask you give us advanced notice if this is outside of our set sign in and sign out times listed on the programme.

We will always have a trained first aid team onsite. They will be aware of all medical conditions and allergies outlined on your child's registration. If you child has a 'severe' or high-risk allergy or medical condition, our team will be in contact prior to the event to sort out a risk management plan.
